What do you need?
Each option books a different clinic. Choosing the right one means you see the doctor best placed to help, first time.
A spot, mole or lump I'm worried about
Rapid access for up to three lesions — lumps, moles, marks or bumps you're concerned about. Examined with dermoscopy, and many can be treated the same day.
A full head-to-toe skin check
A full-body examination of your skin to catch the early signs of skin cancer. Total body photography can be added afterwards, so future changes have something to be compared against.
A rash, acne, eczema or psoriasis
Assessment and treatment for inflammatory skin conditions, from GPs with a Diploma in Dermatology. Isotretinoin can be prescribed where it's clinically appropriate.
A repeat prescription
A medication top-up for something we're already treating you for, handled without an appointment.
What happens when you come in
No mystery, and no upselling. Here's the shape of a first appointment.
We look properly
A history first, then examination with a dermatoscope — a magnifier that shows the structures under the surface you can't see with the naked eye.
We tell you what it is
In plain English: what it is, whether it matters, and whether it needs anything doing. Most of the time the answer is reassurance.
You decide what's next
Treat it on the day where that's possible, plan surgery for another day, or leave it alone and know exactly what to watch for.

Surgery is planned at a consultation first, so the procedure itself is booked for a separate day.
Surgery prices
Which procedure you need is decided at the consultation, so your exact price is confirmed then rather than before. Where a lesion is sent for a pathology report, that is charged separately — the two worked examples below show what that adds up to.

Do you take BUPA or other insurance?
Some patients do get reimbursed afterwards by their own insurer — this is more common for patients from the Republic of Ireland, and with certain providers. That's between you and your insurer and it's outside our control, so check with them before you book rather than assuming either way.
Do you see children?
