General Dermatology appointment £160
This is the price for a face to face appointment. It is the baseline price for all consultations and includes assessment and prescription for rash & skin lesions. (It doesn't matter how many skin lesions you have for assessment).

This is the price for a review appointment within 4 months from the initial appointment if related to that initial appointment.

Also Requires a full body skin check appointment.

Additional Treatments
Skin Surgery.
Prices start at £400. This depends on the size and location of the lesion. It includes surgical treatment of moles, cysts or other swellings and Pathology Lab reporting.
Initial consultation is required prior to any surgical procedure.

Do you see children?
Yes, all doctors see all age groups of patients.
Do you do Mole Mapping?
Yes, we aim to detect skin cancers early. The main way is with a full body skin check. Dr Finbar McGrady & Dr Alan Glendinning specialise in this. For thos people at higher risk we may suggest Total Body Photography (mole mapping). Further information here.
I want a mole (cyst or other skin lesion) removed. What is the process?
You are best booking with Dr Finbar for this. Many skin lesions turn out to be something he can treat on the day (e.g. skin tags seborrheic keratosis), but when surgery is required then an initial consultation is required for diagnosis and planning of the most appropriate procedure for you.
You will be booked another day for the surgical procedure which may take up to an hour depending on the lesion.
The initial consultation costs £150 and the procedures start from £400 and include a pathology lab report.
I want injection or systemic drug treatment for my skin Condition. Do you do that?
Dr Finbar & Dr Christine are GP (General Practitioners) with specialism in Dermatology. These ‘systemic’ drug treatments e.g. methotrexate and biological injectables, are only prescribed by Consultant dermatologists. Sorry we are unable to help you.
Do you do allergy Testing?
Sorry, we don’t do any allergy testing. Patch testing is required for contact eczema. We suggest you enquire at Belfast Skin Clinic.
Do you prescribe roaccutanne (Isotretinoin)

Do you take BUPA (or other insurance companies)?
Unfortunately we don’t work with any insurance companies.
Dr Finbar & Dr Christine are GP (General Practitioners) with specialism in Dermatology and so are on the GP register, not the Dermatology Specialist register, which is what insurance companies ask for.
