Meet Dr. Vanessa Collins – GP with Specialism in Dermatology

We are delighted to welcome Dr Vanessa Collins to Dr Finbar’s Skin Clinic!  With a wealth of experience in dermatology and general practice, Dr Vanessa brings a passion for patient-centred care and expertise.

Dr Collins graduated from the university of Dundee in 1998. After a year working in a private hospital in Australia, she returned home to complete her general practice training in 2004, gaining her MRCGP with merit and obtaining several additional postgraduate diplomas.

In 2005, she completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff university further enhancing her clinical expertise and later that year commenced her dermatology role working as a Specialist Doctor in the Ulster Hospital. 

Dr Collins brings over twenty years experience in Dermatology and dedication to patient care.

Alongside her professional commitments, Dr Collins successfully balances a busy family life as a mother of three and is actively involved in a range of sporting interests.
