Meet Garry McCabe – the person who keeps our clinic flowing!
Garry has been with us at Dr Finbar’s Skin Clinic for one year now, since we made the move to Camlough, and I honestly don’t know how we managed before he arrived. He is the kind of person who works quietly but makes an enormous difference every single day.
Garry’s background is fascinating. He studied archaeology, is widely read in geography and history, and even worked as a professional wine-tasting sommelier!
🤘Like me he loves his rock music and is regular gig- goer. He has a real passion for learning and knowledge. But beyond his wide-ranging skills, what makes Garry truly special is his kindness.
He goes out of his way to help our patients — finding the right doctor for them, getting them seen at the most appropriate time, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Before joining us, Garry spent many years leading the outpatient clinic at Daisy Hill Hospital, and that experience shines through in the way he keeps our clinic so well organised.
Garry is always responsive to communication, and he has a great way of keeping me right — if he thinks one of my ideas is a little too wacky, he reins me in and keeps everything moving in a practical way! He works brilliantly with the nurses and doctors alike, and we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do without him.
I look forward to building our administrative team around Garry’s leadership as the clinic continues to grow.
